I literally woke up feeling as bright as a button. We were leaving today so had to pack all our stuff up. It was one of the longest stays in one place we've had so I was sad to be going. The girls were so hungover I didn't understand how I felt so good! We checked out and then went into the restaurant with Jason who was also checking out, to grab the stodgiest food we could order. We had so much food between us, most of it went to waste. The girls and Jason were literally passed out on the sofas while I FaceTimed Jodie for an hour. I really enjoyed speaking to her properly as the last few times have been really rushed. We laughed and gossiped which was much needed. I miss my sissy so much! We had to catch a bus to Butterworth which is North West of KL. The bus was actually really comfortable which shocked me as I thought it was going to be a little mini bus. It took us 4 hours 45 minutes to get to Butterworth. We had one toilet stop on the way, and when we got there the majority of the toilets were 'squatting toilets' which are basically a hole in the floor for you to squat and do your thing! Also, they're not fans of toilet paper over here as they use a water hose to 'wash' that area after use, so the toilets are just drenched every time you go in one. I keep having to remember to take my own in and as I still had food poisoning, it was really important that I remembered that! The weather was horrendous, it was absolutely hammering it down. We got drenched grabbing our bags from the back. We got a taxi to the hostel and headed out to find some food after dumping our bags. There was just no where that sold decent food, all we found we a dingy looking hot dog stall which was really random. I honestly thought I'd much rather starve than eat one of them, they looked vile. We walked back to the hostel and asked for a taxi to be ordered so we could drive out a bit further to find food. There were no taxis so the receptionist asked one of her friends to take us. This little cute man appeared in his car and took us too a Malaysian food court where a lot of the locals eat. We ordered chicken cordon bleu which was covered in a weird gravy/sweet and sour sauce. It was ok but I couldn't eat it all. After, the same little man took us back to the hostel, and he wouldn't except any money which was just so sweet. Masa managed to somehow break the guys car handle on the inside, she felt so bad she didn't say anything! She just got out of the car holding this handle. It was getting late and we had a ferry to catch in the morning so we hit the sack.
