Well today was goodbye Florence and hello to Venice.... but it definitely wasn't my favorite day by far. Leaving the Academy was hard because it had been such an excellent place to stay. We had an 11:30am train to Venice so we checked out right at 11am and headed to the train station. I also downloaded some new games on my iPad today for the train ride. Which is kinda bad because there is so many other productive things I should be doing like gettin...

Well today was our day trip to Pisa :) We knew that Pisa wasn't going to take much time so we were not in a rush to get out there super early. So we decided to sleep in :) We finally headed to the train station around 11am and got on a train to Pisa around 11:30am. It is only about an hour train ride and we got to use our rail pass! They have been great... and I really hope that in the end we saved money opting to do the pass versus individual tickets. Anyways...

We got a later start than we wanted to this morning. Last night before we went to bed we had put our clothes in the dryer. And our darks came out fine, but the whites had blue detergent spots all over them! Ugh... so they will have to be rewashed today. Luckily they said that they would not charge us to rewash them. We also ate breakfast at the hostel, which was fantastic! They had coffee, like REAL coffee pot coffee. Fruit! And granola cereal. Couldn't hav...

So I woke up the next morning. If you can even wake up from a solid 20 minutes of sleep. One of the woman last night snored worse than my dad. And that is saying something. I finally convinced myself to get out of my bed, and search for the bathrooms. Which eventually I found, and let me tell you train bathrooms are gross! I decided not to head back into the room because it was dark, and I just sat and watched the Italian hillside. Which was absolutely gorge...
