Really impressed with this web site. It actually edited my last message all by itself!

Hi Guys,
Glad to see your still having such a great time.
We caught up on some of your photos, but I spilled my beer when Dawn showed me one of, what appeared to be, a naked Bryan sitting in a puddle on a beach! The nightmares have stopped, but it was a really scarry experience!
Don't rush back as the weather here has been s***e. Went to France over the Bank Holiday weekend - tipping it down with rain and only 4 degrees - coldest weather for centuries in the Champagne area. If I was you I would stay out there diving and snokelling. Let's have some more pictures from the Happy Snappy Chappy.

Hi Mum
Great to hear from you. Sorry No time to sent post cards since we arrived in Oz as we have been busy visiting family and friends - Sent one from Great Barrier reef, 2 days ago. We are still having an amazing time.
Tara should be home by now, we had a wonderful time diving and snorkelling the outer reef. She will tell you all about it. Kerri should also be returning back to Ashford soon as she has finished her course and has been accepted on Teach First and will be attending a short course in Canterbury (Christchurch I think) before starting teaching in Sept.
Hope you are well

Dear Both
Can you bring a parrot home for me please? I loved the picture of Sydney Opera House-definitely one for the living room wall. It must be nice to meet up with some established contacts who know all the sights and best trips to make. I hope you are keeping a diary as well as your IT version- you will need to remember all the details.
have fun

Good grief - could Bryan have got any closer to the Huka Falls?! (say with Chandler [Friends]emphasis!!). Your experiences of the spectrum of colour in nature have just been incredible everywhere you've been, so beautiful. Lake Taupa at sunset .... how you'll ever choose which ones to have enlarged and framed to hang at home, I just don't know! Perhaps you'll have to make the dining room into a sort of Travel 2007 Gallery!
Got back last night from three days with my grandson! My lovely Head gave me 2 days "Granny Leave", so drove up on Wednesday evening. Will e-mail you more pics soon! Dillon is gaining weight steadily and gets more adorable each time I see him, it was so nice to have a few days being part of the new family and helping Edd (Lee went back to work last week after his 2 weeks' Paternity Leave) and getting lots of cuddles with the small chap!
Thanks for the blog, a great read, and as ever, beautiful pics - love the Cathedral Cave / Canyon - have forgotten which - short-term memory going! Sign of old age!!
You both look wonderfully relaxed and happy - you need to bottle that and be able to have a deep sniff whenever needed once you're home and back on the old treadmill of work, marking, commuting .... no, no, don't even think about all that yet!!!
xx

Hi u 2 - Time is quickly running out! - You have certainly made this a lifetime experience - I thought the snorkelling sounded realy good except for the ray, took me back to the time when Dave & I were in Tenerife, Dave told be fish do not have teeth the next thing I have been bitten in my belly button with blood trickleing & me trying to swim back to land with Dave still following with bread trying to feed the fish, I had to very politely tell him to go away!! Still no news on the mower, Steve still has ours so that will do for now, you can sort on your return, which will probably be a Jungle (Have had some bad news - Fred Williams has died) Speak to you soon lots-a-luv sis XX
Peter
Physics indeed had it and Sue will be using it this week thanks. Look forward to fungi pics. Life here hectic and inspection dates next year now known! Think I will go on sabbatical next year! Prac exam tomorrow, all coursework off on time although as ever some pushed the deadlines. Started thinking of TT now that final agreement to plan of day done. You must be heading home soon. Coaching to Wales this year, not taking 25 from here with luggage and struggling through London so bit the bullet and got approval so simplicity itself. 3 staff though so going to be a bit thin here!
Enjoy the rest of the holiday, you will never want to come back to work at this rate. Bryan looks pretty well on it all too!
Have lots of fun
Peter and the rest here and grovel to Anne as I forgot to put her down last time!!!
Jane
Hi Peter
I have sent you an email but have not heard from you so I presume that you have not received it. The bat detector has arrived and I took it down to Physics for checking. I presume that they still have it, if not .......?
We have arrived in Oz and have been walking in the "Barrington tops' area of New South Wales, interesting altitude zonation from sea level up to antarctic beech forest, and surprisingly green. Some very interesting looking fungi in the area - have taken a few shots for you to look at on my return. Saw my first wallaby and black widow spider today (gulp!).
Hope all went OK with the exam work and the AS practical exams. Tell Roxy that I have now sampled the berries she based her project on and they taste good!
Happy bat detecting
Jane

Hi Jane
Odd one this but we cannot find the bat detector. None of us remebers seeing it. Did it arrive and where have you hidden it?
Enjoy the fun of freedom, love to both and the McQueens

We are really enjoying all your postcards. What an experience! A bit too close to the stingrays for my liking though!
All well at Firswood - school a bit manic now as exams approach. Just started the tt - how many days a week would you like to teach next year? - 1 or 2 to get you started!!
So off to see the McQueens next. Please give them our love and enjoy the time together.
Next trip for us is Washington at half-term (Harry at a conference!)
