Just typed a message but didn't fill in the "solve the sum" box before posting and it doesn't seem to have posted so doing it again! Mucho aplogies - I now realise, having showed your blogs to family in Purley yesterday, that you trekked on a glacier not an iceberg and that Bryan had Scotch n glacier not Scotch n iceberg! This of course takes nothing away from the amazing experience and I promise to read and write from now on only when fully awake and not late at night after a 2 hour drive home! xx (You might have to make allowances for my Granny-to-be state apart from my generally useless brain!)

OH - MY- GOD!! I have ALWAYS wanted to get up close to an iceberg and you two have now actually trekked on one! Loved Jane's description of Landrover journey also gaucho / pony travels and clenched thighs! Did it remind you at all of being driven in the Himalayas - hairpin bends and steep drops?! The landscapes, the beaching orcas, scotch n iceberg as opposed to plain boring old scotch n ice.......I am thrilled just reading about it all...must at times be totally overwhelming...I remember the total eclipse in France and how Bryan said "Totality is everything"! Can't wait for the photos from NZ but in the meantime, thanks for your messages - mucho apologies for casting nasturtiums that Jane wasn't contributing to the travelogue - you done good, girl!
Am just back from a few days in Norwich with the parents-to-be, all well, 12 days to due date, baby kicking well and Edd getting impatient! Dan and Jess drove up today, Lee's parents came over - almost - straight from Gatwick after their annual skiing trip to Banff - Edd and Lee couldn't go this time of course - the start of parental sacrifices! So all together for lunch. Hope you had a Happy Argentinian Easter! Lotsaluv xxx

Hi Jane and Bryan,Happy eater(Easter!)
Hope you are having some Easter chocs.A and I have just got back from a few days in The Peak District-encompassing a scary drive through Snake pass and a visit to Eyam ,the plague village .Weather has been great so far who would think we would be sunbathing at Easter. We are enjoying hearing of your adventures - I got my Mum on your website yesterday!
Keep on truckin!
Love Claire.
Kerri
Happy Easter Mum and Dad!
Dissertation steaming along as you might expect. Will send you a copy when I'm done - it'll make for some rivetting beach trash reading (!)
Keep blogging away - makes for a great distraction and a variation on the tiresome 'how many hours were you in the library today' banter that seems to be floating around on the approach to the end of university.
Keep having fun and try and catch some sort of horrible disease soon so you can tell me all about it - you know I can't resist gruesome curiosity.
big love x

Hi Jane and Bryan
Hope you are having a lovely time. Hope you're not drinking too much scotch!! House is still in one piece, even after a visit from Ryan and his dad. Not sure which one of them makes more noise, but the neighbours weren't upset so nothing to worry about.
Lucy loves the cats and she wants to take them back with her when she leaves.
Your dodgy lawnmower has finally packed up i think. Dad is having a look on Monday. i am borrowing one off mark to keep my house looking lovely!
See you soon, though not too soon as we're getting quite comfotable.

Well, well, well! I am absolutely seething with jealously! The closest I've come to experiencing orcas beaching themselves on beaches for food was when I was paddling in the sea in Scarborough yesterday and tripped and fell onto a cornetto. It's not the same really.
It sounds absolutely amazing. I really wish I were there right now. Just got back from the week long festival in Scarb were our play won 2 awards worth a bit of dosh and some street cred, now back in sunny Edinburgh (no sarcasm...it is actually sunny for once) and about to embark on extreme dissertation work and exam cramming. we. hey. In slightly more exciting news, I've been asked to interview for Teach First in Edinburgh, which is handy not having to travel to London, but having been at the festival have rekindled the thespian flame and am wondering whether I should've applied to drama school again. Same old. Same old. Will keep you posted on the Teach First thing. Fingers Crossed.
In the meantime I hope you are perfecting your David Attenborough(/Bellamy) impersonations, I've certainly been perfecting mine of you lot when you called all a flutter after your Iguazcu falls experience! People are lapping it up! x

Hi Bryan and Jane
I'm sure you're both having a great time.
London appears to be hotting up (weather wise) for the Easter. Where do you hope to be during that time and where have you been so far?
The new job is still going well and the people are really lovely and friendly (not saying that MBD staff were not).
Have a great Easter and talk to you soon!
Kathyt

Hey great to hear the whales performed just for you what a fantastic sight that must have been. I ve been reading as much as you've written as I know the itinerary so well glad to see it unravel before my eyes with all the added highlights!!! Thank goodness the view from the plane made up for the early morning start, you see in nature you have to be up with the lark!! It just sounds so amazing I have to go. Somehow going to Dorset for Easter just doesnt cut it.
Will look forward to some photos soon.
All the best

We have just returned from our South Africa vacation and it is great to see your website.
You are obviously having a fantastic time - anywhere that serves Welsh cakes and tea can't be at all bad! Keep us posted about the wildlife watch - although we are wondering why the penguins attacked Jane and not Brian?? Perhaps Brian's aftershave is masking his testosterone??
We had a fabulous time in SA - Cape Town, The Garden Route and best of all at the Game Park in the Kruger. Saw the Big 5 and all the drama of kills and steals. This was our first visit to SA and hopefully not the last - it looked to us to be a land of great opportunity and potential.
