We are mow at Fox Glacier which is a pretty small 'township' on the west coast after a 260Km drive from Wanaka ( beautiful place where we stayed at the Edgewater resort (great deal offered so had to take it).  Room overlooked Lake Wanaka and we walked along the west side of the lake this morning before heading north through the Haast Pass which was a fantastic drive - clear skies but with clouds over the mountains showing where the snow falls.  We went to a Puzzle place wherewe both felt a bit queasy in an illusion room!  Fun, and I had to drag Jane away as she was determined to finish a puzzle but we'd have been there all afternoon!.  Nothing much between there and Fox and we hope to go Heli Hiking tomorrow weather permitting.
