Today I woke up refreshed after going to bed at 10 or so last night J I put away my linins- I sleep on a large couch that lines the entire walls of the guest room, which is quite large. The room is tiled half-way up the wall and then has what looks like iron work or a carving at the top, which gives the room a very decorative look, the floors are completely covered with beautiful red carpets and the couches wrap around all four walls, only stopping for the door. The door opens almost all the way to the high ceiling and had a horseshoe arched opening with silver decorations.I will have to take pictures of the house, because I find it very hard to describe.Anyway, it is quite comfortable.I ate breakfast and waited for Suzanne to return from the laundry mat. When she returned we went to the café Maure where we were the other day.We went into a small art gallery near the café and I found some postcards that I really liked, all the money from them goes to a school in a village.I borrowed a Moroccan Magazine of Suzanne's and starred translating an article to help my French while we were sitting at Maure. It is a magazine with a lot of political articles, so it is very interesting, too. This article is about the border relations between Algeria and Morocco.I also had an orange drink called Hawaii that was quite good. For a while it looked like it was going to rain and we thought about leaving, but it cleared up quickly, so instead we went for a walk on the beach. It was so very nice and relaxing! We sat on the shore for a nice while talking about life in Morocco and particularly about whether or not the women are happy. After a while we decided to go back before our house mom would be expecting us for tea. After tea Suzanne and I decided to go to the train station to buy our tickets for in the morning. We are planning to go to a lack that is supposed to be beautiful. As we walked through the Medina, we got more attention than ever before.Men were talking to Suzanne telling her she had a beautiful smile and one sang to us as he flew by on his motorcycle. We got kisses blown to us too!By the time we were on our way back we had to just laugh at all of them, do they really think that is going to work???We bought another magazine, too. This one is French and is about positive psychology.I am very excited to read it since it sounds similar to what I will be studying this summer. We also stopped off just before we got to the house to buy some cheese, bread, and fruit for a little picnic at the lake tomorrow. Now we are back at the house and the Call to Prayer is playing. It plays five times a day in Arabic in a very melodic way; it is incredibly soothing and it gives this place a since of unity in the day.Right now it is just upsetting a dog in the neighborhood.Soon we will eat dinner and then I am going to go to bed.I am very tired and we are going to the lake tomorrow so I am very excited.
