Long Beach is awsome. We're staying at our mate Pat's place who we met in Utah. Leading up to this, he had really built it up pretty well, so I was ready for some major dissapointment. However, he delivered on all fronts. He told us there were a lot a hotties around where he lives, and there are. He told us he would take us flying, and he did. And he told us that we would have a great time, and I can't deny it.

We've been here about 3 days now, so on our first night we went and saw Pat's roomate play at this club/bar/whatever. He was in like 4/5 bands that were on that night, so we got for free and had a pretty good time there. I'm not sure if it was that night or the night after that we just decided to head out to the airport and go for a little joy flight. It's such a wierd thing to think of to do, but we did it and it was amazing. The view was incredible, and I'm so glad we got to do it.

The night after that we had a bbq/keg night in the backyard. Being the only aussie around, I couldn't trust anyone with the cooking, so I did the duties. The chicken was amazing by the way. Believe it, I can cook. We also played beer pong which I had never played before, and that was pretty fun. As the night proressed we headed out to some clubs, only to be denied at both for not being dressed appropriately. So we were thouroughly pissed off, and thats basically where our night ended.

Day 3 we lounged around for most of the day, and then went kyaking in the marina. Pat was able to hook us up with some kyaks, so we couldn't resist. After that we went for a drive along the coast and checked out some of the beaches that are on offer here, like, Huntington beach, Venice beach, and Laguna beach, just name a few. We stopped at Laguna beach for a bit where Pat, the psyco that he is, went for a swim, even though it was freezing. We also saw some dolphins which was sweet.

Then yesterday I handed my guitar in to get fixed, and then played golf just down the road at a 9 hole course. I didn't play that well, but it was still really fun.
