Wedding day has come! Kayla, Brandon, and I started the day walking to Wanda and Tom's villa for breakfast with Warren because no one else was awake yet. We walked down to Fr. Don's villa to use the Internet for a while. It turns out last night got a little crazy with overflowing hot tubs, people locking doors and then passing out, climbing on the roof, and sleeping on the ground. Not overly upset for missing out on those activities because tonight is sure to be riot of epic proportions! Kayla and I went back to our villa to pack and relax until wedding prep started. Mado came over to our villa to get hair an makeup done. Aaron and Alex made an awesome lunch of shrimp in a cheesy marinara sauce. We finished getting ready and drove up to the church. It is small and very beautiful. Their was a pianist, cellist, violinist, and vocalist to provide music, and they were all very good. Fr. Don said the mass and did a wonderful job of making the wedding very personal and special. We corralled outside in the courtyard afterwards to take pictures and the went to Fr. Don's for the reception. The reception was amazing! Tables of hors dourves everywhere. Tables of meat, cheese, drinks, pattes, fried vegetables & all sorts of other fried deliciousness. The sun came out and Kayla and I sat with our feet in the pool having our cocktails and hors' dourves. After a while we went upstairs for dinner. The tables and food were amazing. At least 7 people gave toasts to the bride and groom. After so many toasts, you drink quite a bit of wine. We went outside for dessert so the tables could be cleared away for a dance floor. I remember dancing a bit, and nothing after that. Apparently I jumped into the freezing cold pool, which does not really surprise me. I don't know how much I slept, but I have a feeling that it was not much.
