had a great sleep last night in a proper bed which was so comfy. woke up to a horrible rainy day though so that was a bit rubbish.

went to alamo square to see the original "5 painted ladies" which are beautiful victorian looking houses that date way back before the great fire of san fran and luckily the rain had stopped when we got out of the car so got some nice pictures. had to buy a new memory card cos ive already filled 4gb!!!

then we went to the twin peaks and got a great view of all of san fran again some really nice pics.

onto golden gate bridge which was amazing and walked along a bit of it and there were blue skies appearing in the sky which was promising.

onto free time at the fishermans wharf and then to pier 33 to catch the ferry to alcatraz- this was the best part of the day here....got some books and took loads of pictures.got a few pressies too (jayme and mum). it was errie but cool in the cell blocks and we were so engrossed that we missed the ferry back so had to wait half an hour and get the very last one of the day.

went for dinner on pier 39 after we had seen the sea lions which were all being really lazy and snoring.

then finished the day by getting hot chocolate in cannery square and planned on getting the cable car back to the hostel but found out that they are undergoing repairs so had to get the bus.

just got in and again trying to catch up on everything so everyone knows what ive been up to.

up early tomos to say bye to san fran and head to big sur and back to camping
