Good bye France, or shall I say "au revoir". Wow, that was an amazing trip. I am sitting in the plane right now heading towards Slovenia. I want to take the time and tell you all about what I did in Paris, France. The first day I got to France it was around 1:00 p.m., so I took a bus from the airport, to my hotel. My hotel was named Mandarin Oriental; it was the nicest hotel at which I have yet stayed. After I unpacked and got settled I went outside and walked around all the little street markets. I then went to a chocolate shop where people make chocolate sculptures. The name of the shop is called Maison Georges Larnicol. The owner was very nice to me; his name was Bernard, which means "bold as a bear". Bernard had been working on his English, so I taught him a couple of words. Because he was so thankful of me teaching him some English, he gave me a piece of molding chocolate, and showed me how to make a person out of it. After I finished making my girl I took Bernard out for dinner. Don't worry, not as a date, but just as friends. We ate at a diner down the road. I had a French bean hamburger (Bernard recommended the hamburger, it's his favorite). The hamburger was very tasty, and it came with some homemade bread. Once I got to the hotel I called my parents and told them that I was in France, and I had a nice safe trip. The next day I took a taxi to the super market and bought some microwavable bean burritos, some bread, ham, supplies for sandwiches, and I bought ice-cream. I then took the taxi back to the hotel, and put all of my groceries away. I made a sandwich and went outside. I rented a cruiser bike and biked to the Eiffel Tower. I found some tourist from Canada to take a picture of me by the Eiffel Tower. After my picture was taken, I sat down and had a little picnic with myself. I then visited the vendors and bought a souvenir for everyone in my family. Once back at my hotel, I had a spa. The pool felt really good after the spa. I then returned to my room, cooked a burrito, and watched the news. I made sure that I got to bed early because the next day I was visiting Aquarium Tropical de la Porte Doree. When I woke up I made a sandwich for lunch, and then ate a string cheese for breakfast. The Aquarium was so big that I actually questioned the taxi driver if we were at the right place. Sure enough, we were. I loved seeing all the sea animals. It was truly amazing and made me happy because I didn't see any dead fish! The animals all seamed really happy and looked like they were being taken care of. My Aquarium guide was truly funny because he would try to talk in English to me, but failed. The next day I went to a market and signed up for a French painting lesson. The lesson was a ton of fun. My instructor's name was Louis, he spoke English, and we practiced painting the Eiffel Tower all day. I then went out to eat that night because it was my last night staying in France. The restaurant was called Le Restaurant, it was a fancy buffet. I had steak, and a side soup. I got back to the hotel and packed up, for the next day I would be flying to Slovenia.
