I'm soooo exhausted. After spending a 10+ hour flight here to Hickam Afb in hawaii...I can barely talk, walk or fend for myself. Did you know that th crime here is really bad? me either.

Well...getting back to the details. I went up to catch a flight out of Lackland Afb at 930am in San Antonio texas and it was delayed....for 2 hours...then another 2 hours...then 3 more hours...then postponed to the following day at around 3pm. After getting on a C5 with about 73 other retirees and dependents(not to mention screaming children) I found my way upon McGuire Afb, NJ.

In McGuire and I met Kim who drove me over to Philly for the night. We went straight for Pat's and got philly cheesesteaks wit whiz and talked away. Delicious

We planned to go out to the club or somewhere, but by the time the flight landed after the drive and huge cheesesteaks--we were purely exhausted. The next day was filled with covert museum entry procedures(CMEP's) and a 3D filming of bugs. (this made me hungry). Kim finally proved in one of the exhibits that she too was a pilot.

On the walk over to the Art Museum(think-rocky and the stairs)...I called Dover to check the flight times and the showtime originally scheduled for 1745 was moved to 1625....Time to roll!

We flew back to grab our bags and left, but the concierge got the best of my bags and took my hydration tube leaving me with a reservoir I cannot use at least until I find the hose. I was pissed when I found this out.

We made it to Dover around 1650...notice how I'm using all military times. I know your impressed. Flew out a bit later 1835 and through a really cold flight finally arrived at around midnight to find it raining and a 43 dollar cab ride to the hostel right off the beach. It seems like if I get up early...I can go hiking in the mountains...so I suppose that's what I'll try to do--but i think the lag is going to catch up with me not too mention the non-sleep from the flight. I should have brought a sleeping bag. ahhh well I had fleece.
