So the first week of classes is done (almost-we have classes tomorrow to make up for a Thursday we're going to miss later in the semester). Ah, I am sitting on my balcony after a pretty great day. I like to people watch from up here. This morning we had some more orientation things and then I got a quick (aka American) lunch and headed out on my own to explore & shop. Second night with the Spanish fam and dinner was great again! It's really nice to sit and talk for a long time with Mar & Tata, and it's definitely helping improve my Spanish. Tomorrow is my first free day since I've been in Spain, so I am very excited to explore, prepare for classes (they start Monday) and get some things that I still need.

First day at the center today...it's really close to the apartment which is nice. Right now I'm sitting outside the Palacio Real stealing internet and relaxing. It's a gorgeous day here and sitting out here is relaxing, even though I have a bit of homework to do.
