After a hellish night train ride from Mumbai, we're finally arrived at Palolem, a beautiful little beach in South Goa. It's such a contrast to Mumbai, still bloody hot and humid but very relaxing. We're spending most of our days sitting in the hammocks under palm trees drinking and reading. Lauren's already finished about 10 books.

We've got a beautiful little hut right on the beach. It came complete with a lizard and a frog. "Froggy" spends most of his time in our toilet and I just can't seem to get rid of him/her. I've flushed him, pocked him, the guy at the bar gave me an oversized pair of tongs to try and grab him out, but nothing has worked. I've giving up now and just accepted him and his position.

We were initially planning to be here for 3 days but it's so damn relaxing that we're going to stretch it out to a week.

We've been eating some good India tucker but it's still pretty touristy and nothing has out-spiced us just yet.
