Well here is part 2.
I forget exactly where I finished up last time but I am guessing it was in Belgium. From Belgium I flew with Ryanair to Dublin this was an awful experience that I would not recommend to anyone except the extremely budget conscious. I arrived early morning in Dublin where I was to meet Sarah. I was extremely tired from my night of travel to the aiport so I slept all day while Sarah worked at the pet shop. Now this girl is seriously crazy, she had a 9 foot Yellow Boa snake loose in here room not to mention the 3 foot iguana and the other 4 types of snakes and lizards. Talk about a strange collection of pets. So for the days I was there I slept with one eye open... just in case. Dublin was cool, Sarah gave me a tour of the countryside and we went to this cool place called Brays head which had really good views of the ocean. I saw my first western cinema in 4 months, we went 2 nights in a row. I received bad news while in Dublin regarding my flight to New York from London the next weekend as British Airways cancelled my flight on me for not showing up to a previous flight despite letting them know. Fortunately that was all settled. I spent 1 day on the west coast of Ireland in Galway and really enjoyed my time in Ireland. I then flew from Dublin to London which was my final destination in Europe where I stayed with my mate from university again for a few days. My time mainly consisted of watching television and sleeping however I did spend one more day in central London. Overall Europe was a great experience and I met so many great people and I appreciate the hospitality showed to me by every person that hosted me and for all the people that I got to spend time with|||
Next came New York, I only had a few days there as I was just there to connect with a flight to Mexico but it was really a cool place and somewhere I would like to return to. There was not one street that didnt have a recognisable monument or attraction. I got to see most of the tourist places including central park, times square, the statue of liberty and heaps more. I even got to go to the beach as it was really hot but it was too windy so we had a look around Coney Island instead which although was not an island was still quite amazing in the diversity of people that were there. The place where I stayed in New York was in Brooklyn but overlooked all of Manhatten so it was really amazing. Definitely somewhere I would like to return to.
Then Mexico City. It is a great place, I spent 10 days there as I was waiting to meet up with a friend from Australia so it was probably more time then I needed but it allowed me to make friends and to explore different parts of the city. I went to Teotihucan which has the 3rd largest pyramids in the world and went to a houseparty while I was there as well which was really fun. I am again out of time so I will continue with Mexico City and Oaxaca this evening and will put some photos up.
