Krakow to Rome

Another early morning today and first in for breakfast, we were checked out and had eaten and picked up by 7:15 by our shuttle to take us to the airport. We were flying with Ryanair and our flight was at 9am. I did not want to give them any reason to charge us extra for anything therefore wanted to be there in plenty of time! Due to massive amount of snow that we received over night we were delayed by an hour as they had to remove the snow from the plane.

The flight was good, a little turbulence but was expected due to the snow clouds. The flight was only two hours and we both slept most the trip.

If was raining in Rome when we arrived, wasn't as cold but definitely not warm! On our way to walking to our hotel it was snowing very heavy. We took a couple too many wrong turns and with our bags and the snow and cold we hailed down a cab to just get us to our hotel.

Our hotel was nice and we were told we had gotten off at the wrong train stop and probably why we got lost so bad. We needed to defrost so turned our heater up and had warm showers before going and getting some late lunch/ early dinner. The snow was very soft and our feet just sunk as we walked through the streets, therefore our pants were freezing cold and very wet and our shoes were soaked through. What a way to finish our day!
