At last, an update !
Having had a computer melt down after the last entry from Paris, it is now the 31st May, which doesn't seem that long since the last entry was the 23rd.... The only difference... It is now 2017 !
My Lawd, how time fly's !
It has been 3 years since Brad and I were nearing the end of our adventure.
I had every intention of completing our blog as soon as we returned home to Perth.
Alas, life, time (or the lack of it) and a million other things get in the way and it didn't happen until now.
Two occurrences have prompted me to finish the blog.
The first being the fact that TravelPod is closing and the platform will be deleted. I have to finish the blog in order to have a coffee table book published for Brad and I to reminisce in years to come.
The second is the fact that Lauren and I are 2 weeks out from starting our Dad n Daughter adventure on the 15th of June..
As time has dimmed the memory of exact details of the last week of our journey, my blog notes will be a little brief.
The weather had fined up for our last day in Paris. Taking the obligatory stroll along des Champs-Elysees, we wandered in and out of high end shops and eateries, even visiting a Mercedes dealership / nic-nac shop. Here you could buy everything branded by the three pointed star.
I honestly can not remember much more about the day (which is why anyone that travels should keep a travel blog or at least a diary kiddies). All in all, we had a wonderful time, our accommodation was great, we have found the French people we met to be friendly and welcoming.
We left Paris on the 24th May and headed for Edinburgh, Scotland.
