Easily the worst day in China..

An early start followed by SIXTEEN hours spent on a train which stunk of pee and as the train was during the day it was difficult to get any sleep..

Once we arrived in Yichang we found ourselves a taxi to the hotel, although Sandy was a bit worried that the taxi driver didnt close the boot once we had put our rucksacks in! Still we made it in one piece and with all our bags to a rather pleasent hotel in the centre of Yichang.

Despite it being 1am Frank took us to a BBQ round the corner from our hotel, me and Sandy kept it quite simple and had some Potato, Eggs and Meat (all of which comes on a stick!?!) whilst Frank came back with a mound of weird Chinese food like duck and chicken feet on sticks!

Quite day again tomorrow as wait to catch the boat for our cruise along the Yangtze..
