I slept in far too long and finally surfaced, bathed and dressed, at about lunchtime!!

Carmens mum dropped me and Carisa in Latrobe, where we went to Reliquaire, a cool shop that sold little bits and bobs, found so much stuff in there!! i bought a bar of Jack Daniels chocolate out of curiosity, and it was lovely! we went to banjos wher i had a chicken pie (carisa had already eaten) and then walked down to Bells Parade, a nice little walk alongside the Mersey river. Got picked up later by Carmens mum again.

Once Carmen got home from work, we jumped in the car and she drove us down to Lauderdale, a place near Hobart where some of her family friends live. we stopped at a service station to get some food, and they didnt have any, but the owner gave us each a bacon and egg roll he'd been given by the restaurant next door when they closed! how nice!! We eventually got there, after a few little detours through Lindisfarne and Sandford, and a return trip over the Tasman Bridge. the bridge is incredible so i didnt mind too much!!

Wally and Ken (the family friends) were lovely, and we had some OJ then went to bed, as we were both pretty shattered but especially carmen after driving all that way!!
