Got up early and checked in at the marina, then went and sorted our bags, checked out and dropped our ruckies at storage, then had lunch at Nandos and went back down to the marina.
We checked in and were taken to our boat, the 50ft Prima! Its a proper sailing boat, sail and all, looks amazing! Me and Ruth were sharing a 'double ensuite' which was a triangular room the size of a cupboard with a toilet/shower about a foot square! Oh well, we fitted in at least! Got introduced to the skipper, Steve, and the host, Suzie, and the other passengers, one other engligh girl called Cat, two dutch called Meno and Matilda, and 5 mexicans; Anna, Christina, Mariana, Claudia and Narda. All really nice!
Started sunbathing as soon as we left the marina but because the sea was fairly choppy we were getting soaked, so adjourned to inside for a bit. I did my first stupid thing of the trip, there are windows that open into the rooms beneath from the deck, and i decided to drop my shorts onto our bed as i had my bikini on. later on i went to find them, and couldn't. After looking everywhere, i realised the window went over the toilet too...and the lid was up. Wet shorts = not good! Not long after we hit really bad weather, very hard rain and choppy sea, so me and Ruth did the sensible thing and sat on deck in raincoats clutching the sides for dear life and laughing our mad heads off!!
After we'd dried off we anchored up for the night in an inlet where it was relatively calm, but we still had a few seasickies. Had dinner, played cards and chatted then had a fairly early night....everyone was tired out!
