Well, its been a rather long time since I've written this, and a lot has changed! Since writing last, I've done 2 weeks work in the city and two on road trip.
Theres not a whole lot to write about for the first two of those four weeks, the week in the city was pretty much work work work, and a bit of fun in the shape of Scruffy Murphys on the saturday night! The 2nd week was spent in Singleton and Muswellbrook on the road trip, it was a pretty fun week, I was training Sara and Sofia my Swedish friends, and we all made a good lot of sales. Also, this was the first week meeting Talia, the new Canadian girl, who we're now firm friends with!
The sunday we got back was Jason's 24th, me and Billy went and got a cake for him and we all spent the day at Coogee Beach drinking and swimming and eating seafood....pretty great!! We stayed until after dark up on the hill and Tim joined us later, we found a little wooden cart which we pushed people down the hill on, mwahaha!!
Headed back to the house around 9pm, found a shopping trolley on the way back which Andy pushed Sofia and I along in at great speed, until we hit a crack in the pavement and both went flying! The trolley landed on me and Sofia hit a lampost, its lucky we were drunk else we might have been in a lot more pain than that!!
The next day we had 'product training' at 10am, as we took on a new client...ChildFund Australia. We're now pitching people on the door to sponsor a child in a 3rd world country, I was really excited!
That week I had lots of people to train and assess and I only made 6 sales but took on 3 new people which is pretty good! Unfortunately one of them got attacked on the way home from work and subsequently quit, but the other two stayed on.
The next road trip was interesting to say the least. I quit the job the day before we left, giving Blake a weeks notice. I changed my mind because theres so much sacrifice involved, which is fine if you want to work your way up the company, but I'm not. The stress was making me ill again and I had no spare time to see Australia...what I came here for! So me and Tom decided to head to NZ.
The road trip was fun but awful. We were in Tamworth, where its hot in the day and freezing at night, and the caravans (yes, caravans) we stayed in had paper thin walls so nobody slept all that well because of the cold! Saleswise the week was pretty bad for most, and there was a bad general atmosphere thanks to Marcus being an a****** as usual!
Anyway, midweek me and Talia and Tom decided it would be a good idea to go and get piercings in our lunch break! Good one! Talia got her eyebrow, Tom got his ear repierced and I got my nose done. Looks pretty cool but somehow the boss found out and we had a rather awkward conference call the next morning. Didn't stop me and Tom from going to see Pirates 3 as soon as we got dropped off for work though!! Tehe!
We went out to Scruffys again the saturday we got back, and then spent the day on sunday down at Darling Harbour just chilling out, great day. Went to see Spiderman 3 at the IMAX cinema, biggest cinema screen in the world, its awesome!!
That night I went out to Kings Cross with Tim and his friend Brendan, had a pretty cheap night thankfully but a fun one!!
And that brings me to today pretty much. I'm packed and ready to go, I've got flights booked and two job offers, but Marcus is now saying I cant have the money he owes me, until next week. Looks like me and Tom and sleeping in the airport til then!!
I'll blog again if and when I get to NZ, so ta ta for now!!!
