We got up early as the brekky was only served until 9am, and were slightly disappointed to find a tub of rice crispies, some bread, butter and vegmite, which is basically aussie marmite! undeterred, we chomped our way through it.

I went to do some washing at the launderette (how cute is that!!) but ended up having to leave before my clothes were dry because of a very insistent interstate truck driver. His quotes included "you know, i drive a really big truck". Great.

we decided to make the most of the lovely weather (it was 40degrees) and go walking down by the river. We were going to do a bike trail but it was too hot, so we got some ice lollies and water and sat by the river. i read my book, kelvin sunbathed, tom and eddy went for a swim in the Murray. They swam all the way to the other bank despite the current (and me telling them not to!) and all the way back!! we walked back via the english bar, and had a few cold drinks there.

Decided to go for the cinema, we all went to see 'Babel' which was pretty deep and dark but quite good really!
