In the night there was a huge storm! There was also a rat scurrying around which really scared Amy, she also started screaming because she thought she had insects in her ears. So poor Sabrina had to spend ages looking into her ear canal with a torch.
We sat down to a lovely breakfast of scrambled egg, baked beans and toast, it was lovely. While the scuba guys were taking their scuba test we admired the lovely view in the beach shelter and it absolutely peed it down for half an hour. I have never seen rain like it, Borneo is known as the land below the winds, as while they get bad rain, they manage to avoid the typhoons.
Today us non-scubas split into two groups and head out onto a kayak trip, it was lovely kayaking around the cove, it mainly involved making Joe capsize.
Lunch today was a chicken curry, yummy. This afternoon we went snorkelling again and the visibility was really good this time. There were loads of tiny jellyfish in the water that stung your hands and face, it wasn't painful, it felt like tiny scratches. When you looked under water you could see so much coral and fish, we also saw a leather back turtle. Purdy became ill so we had to return to the boat and end our trip early, it was a shame as we had only been in the water a few minutes.
Tonight's tea was spaghetti with a creamy sauce and chicken. Tonight was chill out time so JFC decided to play innuendo bingo, we also discovered that team Cornwallis do not have a sense of humour.
