Well we had intentions of heading out towards Lyme Regis but after a long day in boscombe and heavy tea time traffic we got through wareham and I decided to show Lou durdles door .
We headed for lulworth cove and picked up signs for durdles door .when we got up towards the cliffs , hey presto a lovely site with bar ,restaurant ,laundry and all the other trappings that go with an expensive site.
We decided to have a look at the door before I cooked some tea so of we went . It was quite a hike up and down really and it kind of finished Lou off as she was tired before we started . We went down but she wanted to go onto the beach and have a walk along there aswell. The view and it's surrounds where awesome . It had the trappings of being a real money spinner for tourism ,but it was just there with no visitor centre or otherwise. Totally unspoilt and one of the most fantastic sights I have ever seen . There is just fields and cliffs for miles around , but the path had a steady string of walkers , young and old alike ,I was glad I could share this experience with Lou as it is I think perhaps one of the most seen sights on television with coast program's and such . Perhaps when she sees it on t.v again it will remind her of her holiday ?
It was getting late and time for Mr Heinz to cook us up some delights from his 57 varieties range .
