G'day! Had a couple of days in sunny Oz now-We are staying in a quality location 20 metres from the beach in Cottleshoe. Yesterday we embarked on Freemantles night prison tour in the dark-needless to say there were a few surprises lurking in the darkened depths of the prison-much to our dismay the tour that had gone half an hour earlier had frightened kids who had to leave halfway through as the nasty surprises proved a bit too much! Our guide was VERY enthusiastic and really in touch with the prison 'spirits' even exclaiming at the end of the tour how romantic she found the prison chapel and how her and her husband were shortly to renew her vows here (barmy woman) it was possibly the most depressing church I have ever seen-hardly the nicest setting. Anyways we headed to the beach this morning to catch the early (well okay 11am) rays, but our tanning session was rudely interrrrupted when a camper van full of larger swilling charvers pulled up and proceeded to spend the following hour perving on the entire beach hollering and yelling at every opportunity-not the best. Needless to say we quickly made our exit and headed into Perth for the afternoon! So we have decided to stay at the beach for the rest of the week in order to catch the infamous Sunday session here in Cottleshoe-should be wild! although not as wild as the 'Neighbours' tour Nige is insisting we go on in Melborne -she cant wait to snog Harold-its vile. keep ya's posted with the antics love Fi & Jen xxx
