Bob and Nige-The World Tour 2006! (Fi & Jen)
hey guys
glad to here you're all sweltering away in record heats today whilst me and bob have been caught in snow blizzards for the past few days.
well we can't complain really. Spent the day pampering ourselves in the thermal spa pools in Hamner springs- gazing at the snowcapped mountains and watching the snowflakes drift down as we unwound from the stresses of travelling!
me and fi have also recently taken to the slopes for a spot of skiing and snowboarding! which has proved to be really addictive and pretty dangerous. I took out several kids as i worked out how to stop the damned board on my first few attempts. But started to get the hang of it after a while and can't wait to organize a snowboarding holiday on my return!!
The next day we made a trip to the cadbury's factory - bob's eyes lit up immediately on entry and she was trying to dip her fingers into every empty bowl and piece of machinery going. I had to stop her from bitting threw the wooden crunchie bars - for display purposes only. Several free chocolate bars later we were close to sickness and still feel sick from the thought.
We've got a few days left before south america and pretty low on cash- unfortunately we've been reduced to spending tomorrow night sleeping like tramps on airport benches - only after trying our luck at the casino - who knows it might be a penthouse suite instead - will keep you updated
Oh, and also you will be devo to hear we have finished our travels on the gimp infested tragic (a.k.a magic) bus of new zealand, not only were we forced to listen to crappy pop trivia much to the salavation of the geeks on board we also had to listen to the bus drivers petty drivel for 3 days straight-needless to say i was chuffed that my ipod was fully charged-unlike Nige who relished in the fact she could instead listen to the greatest hits of Cleapatra (coming at cha) and right said fred.ERROR. The bus driver also instisted on taking us to sub zero cafes where he though we would purchase the most amounts of tea so he would get a great big comission, cheeky fecker. The highlight of the trip was a stop to see the worlds steepest street and the worlds largest knitted jumper boorrrinnnnnnnggggggggg. I would rather stick needles in my eyes than sit on board a magic bus ever again in my life.
love fi and jen
