We sleep in this morning, after many an early start it feels nice not to have to rush & jump out of bed, many of our friends feel the same. Another early start with a big day on the bus, the coast line is lovely as we drive along the Cote d'Azur. Late in the afternoon we get a chance to stop at a traditional perfume factory, I however don't make it far into the tour & the smell has given me a headache so I have to seek fresh air. Day 6 - Lucerne Bright & early we head up to Mt Pilatus, which sits amoung the huge Alps. We catch a gondola or aerial cable car up the 2132m rock face, with stunning views of the rugged mountain range, lakes and fields of alpine flowers - I even spot a cow or two. We catch the train down, which is the world's steepest cogwheel railway with a 48% gradient. It is a beautiful ride back down the mountain, and we are off to see how they make Swiss army ...

Early start this morning after such a big night proved painful, and challenging. We are off to Lucerne in Switzerland, it is a 7hr coach ride, so we have a long day ahead of us - joy! Another early start to be ready for the coach to head to Paris from London, we are surviving on coffee & berocca as we head to Dover.
