On my way to Hiroshima. I didn't know that there is so much to see in Japan. If I were to do it again, I would have spent a month here, (at least). The simplest things can be extreme challenges when traveling overseas by yourself. It feels like a completely new world when you cannot speak the same language as someone. This morning, I went into a small coffee shop to get breakfast and the waitress and I had a difficult time communicating because she could not speak English and me no Japanese. I almost walked out because there were no menus and so I wasn't sure they had food. Luckily I stayed because the food was great and afterwards I realized all she was trying to ask me was whether I wanted toast or rice with my ham and eggs. Eating eggs with chopsticks was new for me but good.

Bonne chance mon petit japonnais.
