My experience in Hungary has been amazing. Magyar has certainly been my favorite European country and much of the reason why has been because of my Hungarian family. I have been treated like royalty since I’ve arrived. I flew from Paris to Budapest and spent the first couple nights at a hostel in downtown Pest. What a great day meeting Gabi and the rest of my relatives in my first day of the family reunion. We had a great meal with soup, pancakes filled with minced pork, potatoes and beef, salad and dessert. What an amazing week it has been seeing Michelle and the kids from JPII. Seeing the Normandy beaches, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Vimy Ridge celebrations and top it all off by seeing the world's best museum in the Louvre.
