Don't expect this to be very exciting because we haven't done much except sleep since we got here. That 12 hour flight was a killer!
Got robbed on the first night, not literally but we asked a local taxi driver to take us somewhere we could get something to eat and he took us to the most expensive restaurant in Thailand and were just about forced to buy a full sea bass fish, 6 prawns, egg fried rice and some cabbage. The guy who brought us the food was a bloody cabbage and he brought us fresh flies with the food! 50 odd quid for the food and we only had about 15 between us so we had to go an get more money or we would have been locked up and never seen again!!!
The taxi drivers are like loyal servants, we went out for a look around the other day and four hours later the guy was still waiting to take us back. At the end of that he only wanted 300 baht which i think is about 4 Quid, not bad. Doing our bit for charity too! Bono and Bob Geldof would be proud of me as I bought a homeless man some orange juice in a drunken state, how kind of me! lol
Last day in Bankok today, getting on a coach to Krabi (pictured) and staying there for a week. Clear blue skies and waters, boiling hot sun and no work!
Hope everyones good, especially the lads at work who will probably be working in the rain and eating stans lovely meals with extra tache hair in!
Take care and speak to ya soon
