Hi again, we are in our final hours in Darwin before we leave for Brisbane and its not a moment too soon!!! This place has to go down as one of the most boring places on the planet, three streets with a few bars/pubs on each one. The place is a ghost town during the day and the nights aren't much better but at least the suns blazing, got a bit of sunburn again today which is not good as i've already shed the whole of the skin on my back from burns, will have to get the old after sun out to sort it.
Australian people seem alright and met a few aboriginees (Dunno if thats how you spell it) who were sound. They might not have had a bath for years and only have a few teeth remaining but they always tell us to enjoy our day and ask how we are which is good of them.
The hostel we are staying in is ok but the beds are awful! You wake up with a different pain every morning. Yesterday morning I couldn't move my leg, this morning I couldn't bend my spine! Thought that was it, that i'd be bed bound in this hostel for the rest of my time but managed to sort it out after lifting my rucksack up, which weighs a ton an half.
Our flight is at 01:30 in the morning and arrive at 05:30 which is a bit of a pain as we will need to sleep allday tommorow to catch up on the lack of sleep. I can't sleep on planes so i've had it. This will be the fourth flight we've been on since coming out here and it seems as though were just flying all the time. Should be good when we get to Brisbane though, only heard good things about the place and we meet up with ma bro and his mate Dave (You better pick us up at the airport at 6 like you promised or else!) lol bet were still waiting at 8. Seen some good pics of Fraser island where were heading off to and snorkelling on the great barrier reef will be the best part. Was also reading that you can go swimming with sharks and crocodile jumping which sounds good but it doesn't tell you how many people have gone and not come back......
Glad to hear the weathers not the best back home, nice bit of snow and hail will do ya good. Could do with a bit of that here sometimes because you drip with sweat unless your in an air conditioned room but most places have it so were usually good. We didn't get many pics here either because there wasn't much to take pics of. Tried getting the sunset over the sea earlier but was a bit too late and just ended up with blurred pics. Anyway there are a few but not very good, will get loads af good ones in Brisbane and update asap.
Millers finally getting his visa sorted, he's got to go to New Zealand for two days while they process it. He's had to change his pants more times than the diarrohea king but he's alright now and ready to roll on the 27th.
Thats all for now folks, glad to be leaving Darwin and onto the party towns. "El vino will flow!" (Brentmeister general)
Bye for now
