G,day and a Merry Christmas to all,
I cant believe its christmas eve and its not raining so strange to be sat out in the sunshine. The past week has been spent pritty much relaxing by the pool or playing a bit of cricket seen as we finally purchased a cricket set. We also decided to invest in a few xmas decorations to make the old hut feel a little bit more like home. It worked except for when I look in the bed at the side of me and see Will there, which would never happen back home..
So seen as we hadnt been up to much earlier in the week, we decided that on Thursday we would venture out into the outback to find a little gold mining town called Mogo. As we panned for gold on the tour of the place, we though that we may come across an early xmas pressie and maybe not have to find jobs in the new year, didnt happen. So after our disappointment we headed of into the hills to do the bush walk. Now it was meant to take about 45 minutes and after walking for about an hour and a half we came to the conclusion that we must be lost in the middle of the bush with no food or water. scary. I even sore a little tier in Dave's eye at the prospect of having to spend the night in the wood and hunt down a bit of bush tucka for supper. Luckely we managed to fined a road back into town just as it was turning night fall.
This after noon we are goning to get the food in for the BBQ tomorrow and have a little drink for all the people back home. So take care and have a great Christmas.
