I guess you could call this my pre-travel blog. I will be spending my evening doing laundry and packing for my trip tp Europe. Excitement has set in and I can't concentrate on anything else right now. I am so anxious to go yet so scared too. I guess your first trip out of the country will do that to you.

I finally heard back from my friend Ginie, who lives in Paris. She will be meeting me at my hostel on St Pattys Day (which is when I arrive in Paris). The last St Pattys Day I spend with her was SO MUCH FUN! So I am really excited to go celebrate with her. I can't believe I am going to be partying it up in PARIS!!! I have waited for so long for this trip and I wish I was able to stay longer but I'm just happy i get to go period!

So I tend to be pretty anal when it comes to travel, especially when I am going somewhere I have never been before. So I have a detailed itinerary of what to see and where to go, etc, etc. For those of you who are wondering what it is I will be seeing/doing while I am in Europe, here is the breakdown:

London:

Paris:

• Eiffel Tower!!! FINALLY!

• Arc de Triomphe
• Notre Dame
• Saint Chappelle
• d'Orsay Museum
• Maison Europeenne de la Photographie ville de Paris (photography museum)
• The Catacombs (if I have time and don't chicken out...)
• Jardin Des Tuileries (park and gardens)
• Jardin du Luxembourg (park and gardens)
• Ile St Louis (small island next to Notre Dame)
• Palais du Luxembourg (palace)
• Palais Royal (Royal Palace)
• Champ Elysees shopping
• Walking along the Seine River
• Eating real French croissants and bagguettes in some of the original cafes!!!

So, that's basically everything I intend to do while I am there and there is a chance I won't be able to do it all since I have a limited amount of time there...but I am ambitious and if I want something to happen I will make it happen! Well, I must get back to work or at least make it look like I am working. The countdown is on!!!
