I figured I should enter another entry here before it's too late. We leave Auckland tomorrow to get our campervan and head into the wilderness. If what we've seen today, going up a volcano just outside the city (Rangitoto, an island of some such), for which we stumbled through caves without a torch and myself I forgot to take off my sunglasses, then we are doomed so soon as we leave the city. Our plan for tomorrow: Goat Island. Apparently it's not an island, and there probably aren't any goats, but whatever.

 Not much has happened the past few days, we've just been bumming around this insane city. It's a reminder of England, with its English nuances like driving on the left and spelling words with ou instead of o, but at the same time there's a strong oriental element about. For instance half the programs on this PC are in some insane lexicon I can't begin to understand.

 Anyway, as I say, it was necessary to post this last entry because we're going to be flat out for the next 6 weeks or so, probably. Probably not, we'll burn out at Goat Island and find the internet again, is my guess, but that's not important. Enjoy our new selection of photos we've finally got uploaded.
