The Star Ferry is good fun and if you get fed up of malls tomorrow try the ferry to Lantau island- really scenic and much more 'airy' than elsewhere. It's where 'the Big Buddha' resides!

Dad It sounds absolutely amazing. Victoria Barracks in Kowloon was never that interesting. (Even if I didn't get out of the camp before they found they'd sent me to the wrong country and sent me back to Germany!) I was going to ask if the od chinese trader wqas still there, but if you can't fill in the letters completing w***a, then I might upset your readers if I told you his name. Dee when you come down from Victoria Peak make sure you sit with your back to the direction of travel (which is a weird way of saying make sure you are facing uphill!)
