5/11/07 - The day after the night before. A quiet day today after some big birthday celebrations, popped down to Torquay to buy some surfboards and jonny did a spot of surfing down at Jan Juc.

6/11/07 - Melbourne Cup day. A hearty breakfast in preparation for the shananagans ahead. We hit the local cafe in Fed Square and treated ourselves to some sparkling wine before laying on some bets on the horses, then it was on to Transport (our local) were we watched the race. I am nw 224 Aussie dollars richer thanks to Efficient - what a legend!!
