1st January 2008 - Bit of a nothing day today much like all of this week, recovered from the new years eve celebrations

2/1/08 - Not really anything of mention today other than the fact some ozzie funny man stole 5 of my t-shirts and 6 of jonnies. A great way to get the new year going and I hope he gets some serious bad Karma for that!! Oh and noone at the hostel or the police seemed to care in the slightest. Persuaded Andy King to come out and meet up with a few people from the Neighbours night in the evening. Sorry Andy, he had work at 4am and didn't get back til 3am ha ha.

3/1/08 - Slept most of today i think.

4/1/08 - Met Leah and Maddy for breaky this morning and said our good byes as they were off to Fiji, although it could have been yesterday as today is actually 21st Jan and I can't really remember. Went to the fish market in the afternoon and attempted to cook up a storm. Nearly worked.

5/1/08 - Went to the Olympic park today and had a look at the pool etc, very im pressive place.

6/1/08 - Not much happened today, had a quiet one in anticipation of Mr Adkins arrival tomorrow.

7/1/08 - Early start today to go and greet Chris at the airport. As it was recently is 32nd birthday we bought him a card and a balloon at the airport. He was most excited about the balloon and tried to dispose of it at every opportunity, ungreatfull so and so. Went for breakfast and then headed for the Harbour Bridge. Chris was exstatic at doing the bridge climb and his fear of heights didn't show at all, oh no wait he was petrified ha ha. But fair play he did it!! In the evening we showed chris how to get addicted to the pokies and I won the jackpot woo hoo 75 bucks to the good!!

8/1/08 - We were all very excited about our overnight bus journey to coolangatta in the evening so we celebrated by having a fry up. It was a long journey of 13 hours or so. But arrived in Coolangatta in one piece albeit very tired.
