/1/08 - Arrived in Coolangatta nice and early today and went for a surf in waiting for our room to be ready. Then I can't really remember what happened again it was a while ago and i've slept since then.
/1/08 - Like most of the days hear we went surfing.
/1/08 - I believe we went surfing today just to do something new and then went out, to see what happens in the evening in this lively little town.
/1/08 - Feeling a little tender but still managed to check out the local night life and ended watching a bikini contest.... alriiiiiiight!!!
/1/08 - Didn't feel very clever today and don't think I did anything but watch tv in the apartment.
/1/08 - Possibly went to Pacific Fair shopping centre today.
/01/08 - Today we thought we'd head to Wet n' Wild which merely clarified that Chris was scared of basically everything that goes fast or high ha ha. A fun day out for us childish people.
/01/08 - A spot of surfing today and then a spot of tv was the order of the day.
/01/08 - Hmmm what are they setting up on the beach outside our hotel.....?
/01/08 - Friday a cheeky surf then some even cheekier beer!
/01/08 - Answer to the question on the 17th is Beach Cricket, awesome!! Just to clarify cricket in Oz is so much better and its especially good when its beach cricket. Watched a bit on the tv and then thought we'd get involved and pop down and see what was going on as it was free!! A quality day, but tomorrow will be better.
/01/08 - Its the regional and tri nations final of the beach cricket today, so we were up early to put our face paint and wigs on, which proved an awesome idea as the organisers wanted our pictures and made sure we got into the cricket without any hassel. I should explain this beach cricket, its basically the old has beens that still want to play cricket e.g. Graham Gouch. 8 overs and almost every shot is a 6. Each player has ear pieces and mikes so the commentators can speak to / hammer the players when they screw up or drop an easy catch. Anyways England v New Zealand in the final and we lost gutted, but me and Jon made it on TV, WOOP WOOP!! Oh and Sean decided to get in touch with us and he popped down with the kids. Good to see you again mate!
/01/08 - Sold my board today, a sad day but it was time to leave the blue earth for a better surfer. Our last full day in Coolangatta, its been fun.
