hellooooooooooooooo!

hows everyone doing? having an awesome time so far, currently staying at hermosa beach which is a small town just down the coast from LA, its got a really good beach, lots of places that give us beer and not much else, so pretty much in our element! stayed awake for 36 hours on thursday and our hostel is conveniently situated above a noisy pub/club that blares the music till 3am, so havn't been getting an awful lot of sleep, still feeling really good tho! don't think we need sleep anymore. just beer.

the hostel is pretty cool, we're sharing with couple of other english guys and get on really well, so been hanging around with them quite a bit. so far havn't really felt the need to leave hermosa as its awesome here and by all accounts most of LA is pretty grotty, may venture up to santa monica and hollywood at some point to have a wander round though. or may just sit on the beach and go to the pub, see how it goes! also we found a place called big mike's steak sandwich shop, which made me very happy. tpo is also very happy as the hostel gives us unlimited bread and peanut butter for breakfast, and sometimes some really bad cups of tea. yaaaaaaaaay.

also, the flight was really good, virgin atlantic is thoroughly recommended! there's loads of films and tv to watch, and they keep bringing you loads of food and beer the whole time. its awesome. also we discovered that i am the best at trivial pursuit on the whole plane, much better than dan in 51K and neil in 33G. tpo was fairly mediocre, which made him cranky. anyway really enjoyed the flight, quite disappointed when we landed as we had just started watching the borat movie and it cut out, nightmare!

so thats about all for now, will update again when we have something a bit more interesting to talk about! dad u will be pleased to hear in havnt been shot yet, although the lads from the hostel went through compton yesterday and came pretty close! hope everyones well, take it easy y'all.
