Your house sounds very busy with lots of houseguests! It sounds fun. Dad even suggested that maybe I could be a houseguest if you find no buddies to do your weekend travels with and I could come over for a long weekend! But he probably thinks he was kidding...
I cannot even imagine what kind of conversation could have featured the word "cradle" and the one for "murder/bombing attempt" in the same discussion!
Didn't your mother teach you not to speak to stranger in public parks? Really he sounds very nice..but please be careful and you know not to GO with anyone anywhere, right???
Oh, I don't think your photos loaded so try again!
Still missing you and its not getting any better, but glad you are having fun! Definitely we need to teach me how the skype thing works so we can "chat" in person. And I think Lindsay and I are going to win the prize for best blog message boarders. Where is everyone else??

Hi Beth,
I can't believe how much you've done in such a short time! Boring classes are a lot easier to take when the rest of life is so interesting, eh?
It's colder and the leaves are changing here too. Last weekend was nice and believe it or not, forecast is looking good this weekend as well. Your adventures have inspired me to get OUT this weekend and do something new!
Take care of yourself!
Lindsay
Comments on your blog:
1. The whole time I thought it was "Concierge" right up until something about prisoners and then I had to double check and turns out it's some other thing with ridiculous spelling.
2. Yay crepes!
3. Make sure to take note of the Lascaux cave paintings in the Louvre. And tell me if you agree that the scene in the well is DEFINITELY a man being stabbed by a bull. And disagree with my professor, who thinks the bull is simply looking behind itself and there so happens to be a human there also.
Comments not about your blog:
1. Paris sounds very fun!
2. I am thinking of double-majoring/minoring in Art History. Thoughts?
Lindsay
Oh oh oh. And, I like this website a lot more than New Facebook. Which is my explanation of why I'm using it so much.
Lindsay
I vote that also.
Official Halloween costume 2008: Scarecrow.
And I am reeeeally trying to get Kyle to be an ear of corn. Zach finally at least mentioned being a crow but I think if he ends up coordinating, he really only showed interest in either a farmer or another scarecrow. I think he would make a funny farmer. But about the corn, Kyle could just wear a yellow shirt with a green sweatsuit or something, with taffeta coming out of a hat on top or something. Plus I think on Kyle, it will be really sarcastic and ironic and great all at once. And Wanita is being Dorothy.
I wish you were here so you could be corn. You could even use your golf course pants.
Time for another blog! (From you)
Updates: -Today Connor tackled Sam. On accident, because he was trying to hug him. But it's funny because Connor is obsessed with being Sam's best friend but Sam doesn't ever want to be around Connor.
-Also, I had to talk to Ashton, because during Connor's sharing, Connor shared that he got his jacket for his birthday, but Ashton kept yelling "NO HE DIDN'T!" and we'd say, "Ashton don't interrupt your brother!" and of course he would say, "NO BUT IT'S NOT THE TRUTH!" "IT'S REALLY BOTHERING ME!" "BUT IT'S NOT THE TRUTH" and basically ruined the rest of Connor's sharing. So when I talked to him I said if it's bothering him, he can discuss it with Connor later at home but that wasn't the time or place, and that he shouldn't embarrass his brother in front of large groups. To which he replied, still, "Yeah but it's really bothering me." I really don't think he listens to a word anyone says. Maybe he will grow up to be a brilliant independently minded genius. Who has no friends. Also I had a long talk with him about arguing, and I was really excited because he was looking at me and seemingly concentrating, but then at the end of it all, he said "You're kinda pretty." Which was nice, but really frustrating.
-Joey was good but Autumn was a hassle because I guess she is being bullied during class. Except I have to think there's some sort of a twist being put on that.
-Angel is starting to be pretty annoying because she gets an attitude about everything all the sudden. Boo nearly-teens.
-Quinn is doing better.
The end.
Mom
I vote that Lindsay's online math lessons sound way more interesting than Beth's classes on Plato and Proust. And I am jealous that Kevin got to talk to you and Skype with you!!!
Lindsay
"Danielle is getting ready for a wild game of Go Fish! She often counts the coins in her piggy bank before she antes up..." -Beginning of one of my math problems.
I hope you are having just as much fun as Danielle and the folks of my math!
Also, I will call you as soon as I know the time difference and when would be an appropriate time to call.
Also again, have you witnessed any French TV yet? And if so, what is it like?
Kevin
I feel like I've been failing at commenting enough, but I do give myself credit for apparently being the only person to make a sucessful phone call thus far! Skyping with you is pretty cool too =). Anyway, I kinda slept through the Dawg Dash this morning so I'm sure Maggie's ridiculously dissappointed in me, ok maybe not, but I would be. It's good to know you're finding all sorts of friends in your program even if it's only like half the group that are not all wild and crazy.
Has Thomas sent you a message yet? He and Adeline & his other friends go out but still don't go overboard =).
Grandpa Ruf
Grandma and I are thankful for the blogs. it is hard to imagine just how much you have seen in such a short time. We enjoyed Paris very much too. It is an excitement place to be. One of our favorite things was going to a sidewalk cafe and getting a cup of coffee and a crousant (I'm sure that isn't proper spelling) for breakfast. As I remember there are many smaller museums that are interesting to visit too. Keep up the postings and I hope you get your ballot (assuming you are voting for Obama).
Lindsay
I reeeeeeeally wish you could hear the way cool hip hop music that plays during my online math lessons. I wish that very, very much. I hope French music is just as pleasing. And not as mandatory.
Lindsay
Also, what is the time difference from here to France?
Dad
Are French Fries any different in France? They should be good!
Have fun exploring and hanging out during your weekend. Maybe we can Skype sometime.
