Answers to some very pressing questions that I didn't answer before because that post was certainly long enough.
1. France is 9 hours ahead of the US west coast. So it is 8:45 am here, 11:45 in Seattle, and 2:45 on the east coast.
2. Chocolate croissants are delicious! They are like a regular croissant, but they have a strip of solid chocolate (or sometimes two) on the inside (kind of like a mini chocolate bar). And they are great. And I eat chocolate for breakfast every day, but we call it Nutella, so it doesn't count :)
3. The guy was creepy in that why the heck was he even talking to me? He was probably like 40 years old and I was walking through the Red Light District at night and he should have left me alone. But he wasn't creepy in that he didn't really do anything wrong and whenever I said I didn't want to talk to/see him in the future he said "Oh yeah, that makes sense". And I have had multiple encounters with things like that (such as Claude in the park) where it is a strange situation, but the people are actually nice.
4. Ingrid does my laundry, which is very nice of her. Everyone puts it in a hamper in the bathroom and then she runs it at night. And I did offer to do my own, and I also bought new detergent for her, since I was allergic to what she usually uses.
I forget the rest of the questions, but I will probably answer more later...
Love,
Beth
P.S. I added the pictures yesterday, so they are already up. Check 'em out!
