Got to Bangkok at 7 am, checkedin at the Viengtai and freshened up. Lisa and I made our way to the Jim Thompson house. Jim Thompson was Thailand's most famous American. He introduced Thai Silk to the western world. He had got 6 traditional Thai houses and assembled together into a modern house with western comforts he had a vast collection of Thai art. In 1967 he mysteriously disappeared in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia where he was holidaying and there are a lot of conspiracy theories floating about. The house was amazing and so was the collection they had.
From here we went to the MBK markets which were across the road, we browsed. It's a huge and very busy place, there are lots of stalls inside the centre - a huge indoor market!!!
Met my fellow travellers for dinner and our goodbyes as everyone was headed in different directions of the globe from here. Had a Hanata at the Mini Bar and called it a night as I had a very very early flight to Singapore the next day!!!
