so... after bangkok we needed solidarity - Koh Tao called!!! Got over to the island after an 11 hour bus journey and 2 hour boat journey - death!! then we had the pleasure of being put on the back of a pick up truck with a piece of string to hold whilst driving through the jungle which im sure would not pass any health and safety laws! DANGER!!! The place we stayed was AMAZING though... managed to go snorkelling with sharks which was a bit of a shock - i never knew i was able to swim backwards until death faced me! Met some real cool ppl there who decided it would be a good idea to jump off a cliff... yeh i was all game until i saw the flaming thing (crabs at the bottom too to eat us just incase the jump didnt kill us!!) Woulda been cool to stay longer in koh tao but clairey was meeting us in koh phangan so got another boat over to there (and burned a bit more - stupid sun!!) to meet her. Was crazy over there - went a warm up full moon party which was just a taster of what was to come. Stayed with some aussie guy who was a tad strange but hey a beds a bed! Went to a pool party, all got absolutely slammed, claire fell asleep in the bathroom so we had to break the bathroom door down and then me n beth went back for more buckets of whiskey!! Think that was the downfall cuz after that we jumped in pool fully clothed and the next morning really was NOT PRETTY for any of us. Beth was sick in a bag in taxi... always good entertainment. Full moon party was CRAZY!!! me and beth managed to stay til half 8 in morning but claire carried on and got back at 2 lol - crazy child!! Now we're in Krabi. Had to get a night boat over here which was awesome! 7 hour boat journey from koh phagnan to surat thani - best nights sleep ever - had proper beds n alsorts - luxury. The toilet was some what to be desired though - weeing into the sea is always interesting!!! Went to this place today with 40 degree natural hot springs/jacuzzi, walked through the jungle a bit and went to this temple place where we saw monkeys, so cool!!! Off to phuket next for a couple of days before going upto chiang mai - bring on the elephants!!!
