I imagine my life as a puzzle. All different pieces, with all different images, each representing an important link. So this is the start of another puzzle piece. One that I won't forget and one that I'm sure will stick with me for life…
Excitement and nerves surrounded my every movement. It was the day. The day to go back to the most amazing place I have ever set eyes on. The day to begin my journey to a sea of smiling faces. The day which I had been waiting for since my return to the UK last year. Butterflies began in my stomach and the school chant played in my head. This was it. And I could not wait…
After my delayed flight and a slight panic that I was going to miss my connecting flight I was greeted at the airport by Moa the tuk tuk driver. I could recognise his laugh from a long way away; it was so good to see his smiley face again. He drove me into town; it was like I had never left this magnificent place. The smells and dust all brought back memories. I had fallen in love again and I had only been here for 15 minutes. So here I am now writing this after having had cashew chicken at paper tiger (a light relief from the horrible plane food), a pedicure and colour, sitting on my bed alongside the lovely Rosie who I met travelling 16 months ago.
I'm off to ABC's in the morning and let's just say I cannot wait!
