Hello again,
Writing this while having tea and toast in bed perk of half term. We have been very busy studying plants and seeds to sort out the veg plot for this year. Were going to be selective about what we grow this time. Definetely going to try Melons!! Could be interesting.
What is Jim Thompsons house?
Did you make more purchases at the market?
The Palace sounds beautiful, if not a little ott.
Auntie Shirley ran to say shes enjoying reading your blogs, so did Sandra John. So more people looking than leaving messages.
I update Nana everytime. Shes started watching a backpackers programme so thinks she knows all about it now. Bless her.
Continue to have a fantastic time, we love hearing all about it. Love to you and Esther.

Hi guys,
I cant believe they cancelled dads op, thats so unfair. I guess it at least meansim around to be a nurse which is good.
Lifes good thanks Ed, and you're not being nosy i want people to read and be jealous. Its amazing being around elephants, more when you reflect back on it though, when you're there it seems normal which in itself is rather weird. They are very well behaved, but the babies are naughty, more playful though really. No I cant get you an elephant im afriad, not sure i could get it though customs up my jumper.
On the note of cakes we have found the most amazing cake place in the emporium, so are heading there after this internet session.
Keep up the messages i love hearing from everyone

Now then Rat's Sister, how's life? I read a couple of your blogs (because I'm nosy) and decided to say hello. Sound's like you're having fun but becoming a bit of a hippy, you better not come near me with any of your herbal tea. What's it like being around elephants all day? Are they well behaved? I'd quite like an elephant to go to uni on. Don't suppose you could get me one though... Have fun in Bangcock (lol). Oo and if Carol's readng this the chocolate and marshmellow stuff is out of this world (almost as good as your Christmas cake). x x Ed

Hi Bethany
Would you believe it the hospital have just phoned and cancelled dads operation. The surgeon has fallen and broken his leg so will have to wait for number weeks now. So he wont be bionic when you get home, possibly you may have to be his nurse!! love mum xx
Beth
Congrats chris on the exams!
I am definately a lot cleaner now, the guesthouse is amazing! It was so nice to have a hot shower with some water pressure after the last two weeks.
Im still doing well, have loads of pictures from bathing the elephants, though unforunately none from the comedy moment when i fell off. Im fine by the way it didnt hurt.
Talk soon

Hi betsy
sounds like you've had an amazing time at the sanctuary, altho a proper wash is probably a could idea and somewhat overdue. I bet you smell even worse than when we used to pick you up from the farm, if thats possible!!!
Mum and Dad came up yesterday which was nice, and took us out for food down by the quayside. Some gaumless wench managed to spill a pint on mums coat though which we wern't impressed by! Dad had his new coat and scarf on so he looked presentable for a change!
I have some news, although not as exciting as any of yours. Ive managed to pass all my exams for a change and have been rewarded with shedloads of cake! Even Nana has baked for me!
Anyway, have fun at Uncle Joels place and remember dont feel guilty about being waited on hand and foot, its their job!!
Look forward to hearing from you again soon.
xx

Hi Bethany
Your experience at the sanctuary sounds truly amazing. I hope you got a photo, when you were on the elephants, although not really possible I expect when your bathing them.
Its great that you have met so many interesting people. It will be good to keep in touch with them all in the future.
It has been brill for us to log on and read your blogs, we look forward to them.
Yippee I've finished school for the holidays. Lie in and tea and toast in bed for next week I think.
Dad and I are going to Newcastle tomorrow to see chris and Hannah. Would you believe Nana has baked for him because you are away she said.
I hope all goes well travelling to Joel and Vanas house. It will be good to catch up with Esther you will certainly have lots to talk about. Love to you from Mum and Dad xx

Dont worry chris im doing a lot of drinking, ive become rather fond of the local rum, and whisky in fact!
He wasnt a footballer, it said his name then cleaning services on his shirt so i really wasnt convinced, he was bloody annoying though!
I did get rtaher burnt the other day but now i look slighlty tanned (just slightly) though i think it might just be the base layer of dirt that i never bother to remove. (dont tell nana)
Ill make eddy a cake when i get back, and yes i did get pictures of the gay elephants (lol) and yeh think of all the useful presents i could have had!
The sink plug is likely to be dismissed, i kind of dont want to leave the sanctuary to be honest, its lovely here, but all good things must come to and end and ive got adventuring to be getting on with. Time is going so quickly though!
Congrats on the safe completion of the course Catherine, i love the new rumour, and surely they cant think im a recluse any more, im in Thailand! What does a person have to do to get rid of such a reputation.

Hello
So pleased ur having an amazing time, can't wait to see the pictures, i would have never thought about taking a sink plug, thats very orgainsed, im sure you will find a use. the safari sounds brillent and so cheap. You will never want to come home.
I have sucessfully completed my landrover off road driving course -omg it was scary but so fun :) and 1 didn't crash, damage or injury anything, so alls good on that front. on the farm front simon thinks im more of a ricluse than u, he asked me if i knew what uggs and facebook was this wknd!! i was not impressed when 1 of the fb staff thought it was funny to ask me weather i fancied james w as i always moan about him, its now the new farm rummer.
anyays have a fanstastic time can't believe you have been away 10 days already.
look forward from hearing from you.
take care Catherine xxx

Hello Bethany
Don't dismiss my sink plug yet you may need it before the end of your trip!!
I might have known you would manage to go shopping. What you throwing out of the rucksack to make room for your purchases!! Surely not the sink plug...
Everything sounds amazing. Going to need a lot of Friday nights to talk about it all on your return. Glad you've got your lift sorted but I bet you won't want to leave the santuary, it sounds brilliant. The elephant safari night sounded awesome. What an experience.
We love to hear what your up too and how much your enjoying it. Will look forward to next update love Mum and Dad xx
Chris
Hi betsy
Glad to hear you're having fun, enjoying the sanctuary and far more importantly that there's somewhere to go for a drink! Do you resemble a beetroot yet? What was this 'footballers' name then, did he attempt to impress you by claiming he was a footballer even though noone has ever heard of him? I can't believe dads learnt to use the internet! I think ed's managed to stop sulking about you not making him a birthday cake and he also wants to know if you got pictures of the gay elephants! I think its hilarious that the sink plug is in fact useless, just think you could have had a proper present instead.
