You're crazy, what is your obsession with blackpool, its not even a particularly nice cost! Too many hen and stag parties have ruined it i think!
Your approximation of thai potatoes is very good by the way so keep going with them.
Not impressed at all with our bananas anymore.
I cant believe its snowing there, its definately cooler for us now were in the north of thailand but still like 25degress minimum id say.
Great news about Vana and Joels baby, bet theyre well happy.
I cant be bothered doing a proper blog update but ive just been to chiang mai walking streets and bought lots of things, im a baggy pant convert (very backpackery) and have started buying presents cos if we get them here we only have to carry them back to bangkok then we can pick them up before we fly home. So mum, dad and nana and sandra and john all have presents now which you can be looking forward to.
Ill update properly soon but tomorrow were going to doi suthep then tues/weds were going trekking. So should be a good week.

We are mad we did go to the coast, driving through Cowling 3inch snow on the trees but dad wanted to go he said it was a winter wonderland.
Got to Blackpool, would you believe all sea front cordoned off still building sea defences, so couldn't walk on proms or pier only reason for going, so jumped back in car went to Freeport at Fleetwood, it was beatuiful sunshine there, crazy. We had a nice walk round, lunch out, did some shopping, bought a paella pan for making stir fries and curries in. Going to make Thai potatoes in it tonight.
Just had Nana at supermarket under sufference, it is 5 weeks since she went so made her go. I got a bottle of wine for my trouble, which was nice.
I cannot believe your having to open your own bananas, what a cum down Ha Ha!
I have to go back to work on Monday unless my numbers come up tonight fingers crossed.
love both of us xx

Hello,
Its going too fast, i cant believe how time is disappearing!
Im updating my blog a lot more now cos were in towns and to our delight internet is much cheaper here than in Bangkok! So you can expect lots of updates!
I thiknk you're mad, only you would think it was a good idea to go to the coast in feb in the snow! Im definately gunna be freezing when i get home!
We intend to enjoy it here, though everythings gunna seem a bit shabby after our time in Bangkok! Would you believe we had to open our own bananas on the train, not the treatment were used to any more!

We are so pleased you are having such a fab time, we also think its going really quick.
Its brilliant that you are updating your blog so often so we know what your up to. We enjoy reading them.
We are thinking of going to the coast today but unsure about weather still very cold and keep having snow flurries. I think we should just wrap up warm and go.
Chaing Mai should be a terrific trip, I've been reading your lonely planet book, it sounds an amazing place. Enjoy every minute.
laa kawn for now, have a safe journey love Mum and Dad x
Beth
well done on the thai everyone!
i havent bought very much at all honestly!
The bridge was really interesting, but it was terrifying walking on it cos there were no handrails or anything so you could literally just fall off.
Glad u got the outfit sorted mum, and the guesthouse did sway whenever anyone walked past.
i cant believe its three weeks today since i left home, time is going way too fast!

Hello
I might have known the transport would be crap but how much worse can it be than this countrys really? I cant exactly see how a tuktuk is exciting either but as long as you enjoyed it i dont suppose it matters.
It sounds like you're staying in a treehouse!
Are you going to be bringing back anything that you took if you keep buying things? You're going to end up having to buy another rucksack to fit all your purchases in!
Glad to hear you're still having fun.

Hello again
Tuktuk sounds exciting, you would be ready for that after all the efforts to get there. It sounds worth it though.
Dad is looking forward to hearing all about the River Kwai experience he has read so many books about it because of Grandad being there as a POW.
The guest house on stilts sounds interesting, did it sway!
Enjoy Erawan if you manage to navigate your selves to there.
Have fun love Mum and Dad xx

Khop-koon ka ( im getting adventuarus in the word department,)
The transport systems sound very complicated or rather random, i must stop moaning about our systems. Is a tuktuk on of those bike things with roof?
the places u have visited sound really intresting, can't wait to see the pictures, have you thrown anything out of ur rucksack to fit ur purchases in?
Ive sucessfully completed the stile but it wasn't with out drama we managed to get the landrover stuck, and had to put the off road drving course knoweldge to the test!!!!!!!! plus the b**** from hell is back on form :O
can't believe it nearly 3 weeks since u went the times flown.
Have a fanstastic time on ur travels

sa wat dee ka, very good catherine im impressd!
The expdition across bangkok wasnt too bad, though i think i might ave freaked out had i been on my own. Maybe the farm gang will finally have to stop thinkig im a recluse!
Sounds like you´re being very productive indeed, no the sunburns not too bad, my forearms are actally tanned im in shock!
say no to what, we say no to tuktuk drivers a lot, theyre a bit of a pain they dont understand that were quite happy walking!
Melons sound good. Jim Thompson was an american architect turned explorer who revived the thai silk industry. I bought sunglasses since i sat on mine while drunk at the centre and a top to go with the skirti bought in hua hin.
Nice to know people are still reading, i havent bored you all yet then.
Bless nana, im sure she making herself very well informed.
We are having a great time, we are so excited about heading to chiang mai you actually wouldnt believe. Weve heard great things about it.
