Pleased to hear Halong Bay was good and lived up to expections , i did a bit of a google and it looks stunning , im very jelous. but im not of the cockroach but i think they are ment to quite clever but there not very pleasent to look at, at least you gave the receponist a little job,
kayaking that sounds well fun, bet the secenary was amazing, we would be stung up if no heathlt saftey talk or instruction before i can take a group of volunteers out ive got to do a generic risk assement, site spercific risk assesment, visit location before them and then once on site i have to then do health and safty talk tool talk and then get all there emergency contact details. ( Ur mum probs has the same)
When We have our road trip adventure il make sure that desserts are on the menu especially if ur returning to the uk as a stick insect - ur were already skinny before you went.
Well im off to the pub tonight meet some freinds. i might drown my sorrows - had to s*** days a north yorks; mainly involving a hedge boundary and 2 next door landowners and one off them ripping it out to put a gate and the other is very upset. so im now in the middle of a neighboughers dispute (lovely) im not in till nxt thursday so i might get the map out and plan our route
anyways have fun, always nice to hear from you

Hi (dont worry chris i dont speak vietnamese either)
You cant quit your job yet mum, its not long now till the summer, we can have an epic friday night when i get back to catch up with all your work offloading that ive been missing.
I wouldnt have bothered to get up to see us off either, we were shocked!
They dont die if you stand on them in flipflops and thats all weve got, and we didnt have a window to throw it out of! We have a sneaking suspicion thats what got us the room upgrade tho.
Halong Bay was awesome, took some pictures of course, it was surreal, we were definately having i cant actually believe were here moments!
Where was the bun from? and the fudge for that matter? Its a bit mean of you to tell me this when i dont have access to such things, ive lost loads of weight out here though so maybe its a blessing in disguise! Sounds awesome though!
Happy Anniversary mum and dad (sorry its a bit late), ill make a very belated puding for you when i get back, desserts arent really done out here so im craving them quite badly, might go baking mad when i get home!
Glad to hear about non-stick pans, about time you had some decent cooking equipment, very pleased to hear about yaris also

We are just short of one of your awesome puddings!!
We got an amazing present of non stick pans, so we will be up there in the cooking department at last. Going to have a lovely evening wining and dining. Hope Halong Bay has lived up to expectations. Also really pleased Yaris gone through MOT no problems today so ready for you when you get back home. love to you Mum and Dad xx
Chris
Hello, (i dont speak vietnamese)
Good to hear you're still enjoying yourself. I can't believe the servants got up to see you off, i wouldn't have bothered!
Why on earth did you bother taking a cockroach to reception when you could have just stood on it?!
Hope you have an awesome time at Halong bay and you'd better get lots of pictures as this is the only part of your trip that I'm jealous of!!
By the way I had the most amazing bun ever the other day, it had 2 inches of sticky toffee flavour icing on it, oh and marzipan fudge is also incredible.
Love Chris. xx

I'm glad to hear Europe still involves me thats a relief. I nearly applied for another job this week but stopped myself because of Europe trip. I'll get to Summer and then think about new job. School meeting tonight didn't leave until 6.20. Crazy day !!
Have a brilliant time at Halong Bay.
I would have died about the cockroach. I would have loved to seen people on receptions faces when you took it to them, I bet that was a first!!
Lovely to hear from you again, have a safe journey. Enjoy the boat.love Mum xx

Hi everyone,
Catherine you're putting us to shame you know more vietnamese than we do!
Bless nana, i think it sounds like dad has changed a lot while ive been away! Sounds like hes actually entered the 21st century!
Were just about coping with the maths now, and were getting the hang of the roads as well. Theres definately a knack and no theyre much worse than station road mark. Ill take some pics to show you, literally no lane system, hundreds of motorbikes and constant horn sounding instead of indicating or breaking.
Oh by the way Catherine thanks for the email that was what i thought you meant ;)
I am really looking forward to our road trip, i dont mind ruffing it either, you should have seen the size of the cockroach we removed from our bathroom today. Dont think the hotel ppl were too impressed when we brought it down to reception! (we had nowhere else to take it!)
I can imagine lots of teabreaks were needed, sounds like a nice days work though.
I dont mind which coast we go to to be honest, im sure well have an awesome time wherever we go.
The farm really would be a last resort, ill try to get a job with mark first. Its nice of james to ask about me though, maybe hell finally realise im not still pining over the whole failed vet episode.
Were off to Halong Bay tomorrow which should be exciting. Ill update you all when we get back.

Chào bà ( i think)
Pleased your flight was good,
Vietnam roads sound deadly dangerous. good job im not there the money sounds well complicated especially with my mathical skills i stuggle with the euro.
Not wishing your time away but i can't wait untill 3 weeks are up. camping is a deffent possiblitiy ive startedlooking into potensal sites ect but still not quite sure of the locations. i can't decied which cost to do the like the whitby side, the blackpool / morcom side or if feeling more adventuraus theres even the scottish coast or nothumbian coast there all stunning. site start at £5 a night.
OAPS and scrub clearence id a intresting combination lets just say lots of tea brakes, enven more chatting, long lunch and short day 10 -230. so really not much clearence.
james W was asking about ur adventures today and he says if you need a job or to work a couple of days your very welcome but youl have to get in there fast before soembody else do (how popular is working at the farm) - il let you think of a poilet answer for him!!!!!!!!!!
im sure Vietnam is going to be great but mybe for different reasons!!
have a great time don't get run over!

Im sure staion road in rush hour still give the roads a run for their money though?? your just going to have to do a lot of mental arithmatic, i hope theres no smaller donominations of vietnamese currency. looking forward to hearing what you get up to!!

Hello in Vietnam (How ever you say that)
You must be shattered getting up so early. It was so kind of everyone to see you off, they are very special people to do that!
Nana bought herself a pocket guide to Thailand so she can read about the places you have been to, which I thought was sweet.
Dad not only logs on to the computer but corrects my spelling as I type, cheeky monkey !!
The money sounds awful to cope with I wouldn't have a clue, you know what my maths is like!
Enjoy the new experience, I'm sure it will be very different but still mind blowing.
Take care and remember your green cross code as if that will help. I don't think so!!
Love to you both Mum and Dad xx
Beth
Hi,
You should definately go stay with Joel and Vana, its pretty amazing there. I really didnt want to leave!
Europe still involves you, just think we should relax the pace a bit (taking into account you're a bit older) cos this is harder work than you expect.
Cant believe dads stained the chairs - life must be so dull without me!
Oh i think i realised what you meant Catherine but please email and explain to make sure.
Sounds like you needed a drink to get through that party! Glad you had fun though.
Glad scrub clearance was ok as well, cant believe you were doing it with oaps though, theyre not known for their fitness levels.
Its only 3 weeks till i come home now, actually looking forward to a good sleep and some home comforts.
The roadtrips gunna be awesome, im up for wherever you want to go, though i looked at the price of youth hostels in england and was shocked, how do you feel about camping?

It sounds like you have had the best time ever in Thailand your going to remeber it forever. Hope vietnams goign to be just as good. please to see your using ur haggleing skills ur always good with the bargan hunting. 8,000 market stalls that going to be a amazing site, you will be spoilt for choice while shopping.
I survied just!!!! omg it was bad hardley anybody was there, knowone was there and we spent most of our 2 hours there looking after katy rodwells sister who was compeltly drunk before she had left the house (full bottle of vodka) before and after the party was really fun but omg it was a disater, the dj was good. the drinks were so expensive, good job i had a bit before i left.
to my suprise scrubclearence went ok, there was no injurys that needed my first aid skills so all was good on that front. but these old people do not listen to you what so ever, there rather naughty.
Less than a month till you come home. gosh the seas not going to be very exciting for you!!
safe flight to hanoi
