Hi everyone, so here we are...in Prague. Änd it is totally gorgeous...which is more than can be said for our hostel! After a half a mile trek with rucksacks and a great deal of chaffing (on our shoulders!!) we finally located it , and its near the train station...which may well be the only thing it has going for it, as it looks like something the Adams family might live in and hasnt quite caught up with the 21st century as it is yet to discover the benefits of air conditioning, despite 32 degree temperatures! We've crammed in loads of culture since being here (cough..) with the highlight being a long and lingering stare at the beautiful castle way up on the hill...(well it'd be dangerous to climb it in such sweltering temperatures!). There's also a jazz festival on at the moment which is nice coz everzone lounges about soaking up the music. After making a pact not to use public transport because its smellz and cramped I think we may well have walked every inch of the city. We've seen Charles Bridge and the Old Square where fullz grown men get verz excited on the hour every hour just at the prospect of seeing a few little puppets pop out of doors on a clock. Hmmm. Anyway, we're going to the man made beach by the river tomorrow, coy apparently its a must-see, lol. And then heading to Bratislava on Saturday where we maz or may not get off the train, depending on what it looks like. Hope you're all well. We'll write soon. Lots of Love Beth and Charlie xxxxxx
