Just wrote a massive message to you, posted it and its GONE! Dum-dum-dum-dum-dum. So, now I will use the power of... Greyscull to remember it you lucky things!
Where are you guys off to next? Do you think I'd fit in your rucksack if I got a flight out there now? You could greet me at the gate with a massive 'Clairzee' sign,... Not that I'm in need of some escapism or anything... Err, what's new. I've started writing up so now the days really do merge in to OOOOOOONE,... YAWN,... We're off to the Beer Festival next week (sadly Earls Court, not Oktoberfest!) so that should be... good.
Me thinks Holly trekked along the Great Wall, at least part of the way. Is that right Holster?
Take care guys :-)
Oh, nearly forgot. Danny, the other day I made Mat and I the biggest, most diverse and amazingly delicious Ploughmans you have **ever** seen. When we sat down to eat it I thought of you and said 'We should take a photo of this and send it to Danny'. (How much are you missing a noggin of cheddar and a dollop of Branston right now?). Then I remembered thanks to our nimble-fingered workmen we don't have cameras anymore!... Forward us the address of your next hostel and I'll see what I can do!
byeeeee! love c x
p.s. Happy Birthday (for 2mor) Nia you fellow lioness!!!
Bryce
Hi Daniel, Mum and Dad, and Cathy
Yes, I'm still here, lurking. My earlier attempt to takeover the Lobster blog failed when I ran out of energy and lots of bloody students wanted to be taught about politics.
The Facebook (or CrackBook) craze has finally hit NZ too, which is providing some competition for the Lobster.
But I've made up Dan and Beth's bed, ready for their arrival in Dunedin. You guys are still coming aren't you?
Bryce

Hi Beth and Dan. Wonderful to see pictures of your adventure. We'll be following your journey. Have a wonderful time and take care. X
Dan
Relax. I don't think you can get rabies from dirty water! Although 3000 people in China died from rabies last year though. Dun dun derrrr.
Interesting question. Where's Professor Edwards I wonder? Perhaps bored after his earlier takeover of the blog or maybe he's gone to join hotshot Briggs in the war on terror??
Mum And Dad
Hi Dan and Beth i thought the same as Cathy i thought we was going to hear a lot from Bryce cos we did in the beginning, it was quite interesting to hear his stories too. I wonder what has happened to him?
Anyway it's lovely reading your blog and seeing the photos hope you got the last part of your injection Dan cos you will need it falling off the elephant into that water. Im sure Beth's are all sorted. Stay safe look after each other Love mum and dad.xxxxx
If you don't manage to speak to Claire tomorrow i will wish her Happy Birthday for you both byeeee
Kate
Hi guys,
Glad you've made it to china in one piece - understand what you mean about the language problem - your sign language skills will be perfected by the time you get home!
Missing you lots back here - keep the posts coming!
xxx
Cathy
Hi Dan and Beth !
Just reliving my trip to Pokhara and Chitwan looking at your photos - I loved it at both places but most especially Pokhara (in the hills)...well nothing like that here at good old DCMS ! You are missing all the excitement of new Ministers and the mad rush to lool like they have achieved something before recess! Stay in them thar hills! We are all chugging along - Chris Briggs is coming in today to say hello as he is on 10 days leave and then back to the war.......I will give him your love..... Really surpised that you haven't had more from Bryce - he is being a proper prof - 230 students...god help them! You will have all the news about the rubbish summer we are having but you must shave off that beard if you are to come back with a glowing tan! Mind you I guess you have a while yet.......forever??? Anyway hope your travel continue going well - do not take up washing elephants as your day job you don't seem very good at it! (nor you Beth!!!)
Cathy
NI

Hope you are both well and looking after yourselves looks like great fun with the elephants. Looked funny when you fell into the water. Did it hurt when leeches bit you both? Take care see you xmas xxx

Yo dudes. Greetings from the land of no sun and lots of wind. Your travels seem to be going by in a flash (or is it just me?).....seems like only yesterday we were seeing Dan off at the airport, with a tear in our eyes (or was that just me again?).Cant believe you survived India without serious illness Dan. Im impressed with your level of immunity. Or maybe youre not pushing yourself hard enough?! Dare i say give the pork a try?.....Thanks for your email. Pukora sounds like north face heaven. It weird coz i always imagined some swiss climbing experts hand-stitching the clothing, but i guess my illusion was bound to cumble at some point.Me, Claire Linda and Bernie all went to see Arthur and Elsie on Sunday. Elsie seemed a bit tired but Arthur was in amazingly high spirits. If he wasnt in hospital i wouldnt have known anything was different so hopefully he's well on the road to recovery. Will tell you both about burglary in full when you get back (dont want to bore other bloggers!). My camera was nicked which im bummed about coz i probably cant afford a new one like it. Claire and I may combine forces to buy one together (Dan and Beth style). Its probably the most committment ive ever shown anyone, so im apprehensive but hopeful...... Anyway, have probably stuffed your message board by now - should remember email next time (all this high technology!). Just realised, that last comment will look really silly if its only a small entry. Its hard to tell with this box.Anyway, take care and see you both soon(ish),Matt
Clare & Chris Laverick
How do to both of you from Clare and Chris in Sunny Cyprus, all your photos are great and it sounds like your having the time of your lives, id swop elephants and getting potentially eaten by a crock anyday with these minging, purvo cypriots we have to put up with out here!! Let us know if your swining by and i will put the kettle on!! I had to ring my Chris at work to give me the answer to the difficult sum to send this, ah the effort i go to to keep in touch!!!
Any hoo take care both of you, watch the dodgy grub and dont get eaten by it!! Hopefully see you at Christmas when we should be back on leave for a whole two weeks, lucky us, bring on the rain and asda! you dont know what you've got until its gone! xxxxxxxxxxx
