Hello Beth and Dan, just a quick hello. nice to see your latest photos of your journey. It is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada this weekend so we are off to the woods. We are off to a camp, very primitive no power no running water, it is a great place in the mountains over looking a lake. We will cook over a wood stove, the food is so amazing when cooked that way. We had our best fish and chips cooked that way. That is all for now take care . Love Sue/

Hi Jan and Ked gave Grandad Thorne your Happy Birthday message was kind of you he said he didn't feel very grand, but at 96 he's expected to feel like that isn't he. Anyway we brought him over to ours for a small celebration and he felt much better afterwards. Hope you both are well and all of your family. Sounds like Beth and Dan having a great time, photo's are brilliant and we like the captions that go with them. Look forward to seeing you both again love Linda and Bernie.xx
P.S. Hope Beth and Dan dont mind us using their message board tried sending you e mail a while ago didn't work.
Birthday Boy Dan
Ohmigodd. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I can confirm I am now 28 and we had a great day, despite the distinct lack of gas from our campervan (all is now fixed now though..turns out we didn't twizzle the thingymejig). Beth even managed to surprise me with a card and a bar of dairy milk and we even had a barbie although no shrimps.
Perfect timing Susan, we've just got back from a fabulous tour of the Hunter Valley where we tasted lots of amazing wines, although unsurprisingly for me, all we've actually bought is a great deal of cheese! I'm sure Beth'll fill you all in on the many details from Sydney onwards in the next blog installment.
Best wishes and happy 96th to Grandad Thorne for today. (Fearing my return lots) Dan xxx

Hi both,
Dan - it seems from the posts below it's your birthday. Please send me your address so I can send you a card....
Sounds like you're both doing great altough I detect fear of the return creeping in. When are you coming back to UK Plc? Things are good here with wedding plans and I'm off to see West Ham play Plymouth in the Carling Cup on Weds so you know what you can do with your MBK Centre.
Come on Plymouth!!

P.S Was at Ciaran's second sons (Raphael) christening at the weekend with Haigho. Great fun.
