Hi Beth and Dan, the photos of your whale watch are great!!! It is so amazing to see the giants of the deep in real life. Beth, Uncle Raymond and Auntie Wendy went Whale watching once or twice. My first time was with them when we were in Bar Harbour, Maine in the States. We were very fortunate to see them play around as well. Fantastic shots.
Happy travels,
Love Susan.
Mum And Dad
Hi Dan and Beth your travels around Australia sound amazing to think my mum and dad nearly went there for £10 all those years ago. Still if we had of done you wouldn't of met each other aaah i hear you say. What experiences there are out there today for all you youngsters it's brilliant.
We are of to care home today it's Nan Thorne's 95th birthday i think they have little party for her and bake a cake. Not going to be many of us there cos your in Oz Claire down the mine so dosen't leave many of us left. Still i will give her both of your birthday wishes.
Have a safe flight to New Zealand, hope that holds lots of exciting things for you too.
Take care love mum and dad xxxxx

Have you spotted Susie & Jamie yet? They're somewhere in Oz. Keep a look out. I hear Oz isn't that big a country!
Waiting to hear from you...

Just been looking at your underwater pics- beats snorkeling off Kephalonia! Will have to persuade Dad to take me for our 35th (Coral) anniversary- got 3 years to save up! Off to Spain on Friday so might pack the snorkel and mask-don't think it will compare though. Cariad Mawr

Hey guys!
After a little research I've found something for you... "Dr Melody Serena from the Australian Platypus Conservancy did manage to clear up the question when she spoke to Leon Compton. Apparently, 'platypus' and 'platypuses' are correct enough for common use but, if you really want to be technical, the term you're looking for is 'platypode'." And according to Wikipedia "Colloquially, 'platypi' is also used for the plural, although this is pseudo-Latin." So there you have it! You can sleep easy tonight :-)
